Managing Bookings

View booking details, reschedule meetings, and cancel bookings in ChronSync.

Managing Bookings

From the Bookings page, you have full control over every scheduled meeting.


Viewing Booking Details

Click any booking in the list to open its detail view. You see:

  • Client information -- Name, email address, and any notes they provided during booking
  • Event type -- Which event type this booking belongs to
  • Date and time -- The scheduled meeting time in your local timezone
  • Status -- Current state of the booking
  • Calendar event -- Link to the synced calendar event (if a calendar is connected)

Booking Statuses

StatusMeaning
ConfirmedThe booking is active and both parties are expected to attend
PendingThe booking is awaiting confirmation (if manual approval is enabled)
CancelledThe booking has been cancelled by you or the client
CompletedThe meeting time has passed

Cancelling a Booking

  1. Open the booking detail view
  2. Click Cancel Booking
  3. Confirm the cancellation

When you cancel a booking:

  • The client receives a cancellation notification by email
  • The calendar event is removed from your connected calendar
  • The time slot becomes available again for other bookings

Rescheduling

If you need to move a meeting to a different time:

  1. Open the booking detail view
  2. Click Reschedule
  3. Select a new date and time from the available slots
  4. Confirm the change

The client receives an email with the updated time, and the calendar event updates automatically.


Filtering and Searching

Use the filters at the top of the Bookings page to narrow your view:

  • Date range -- Show bookings within a specific period
  • Status -- Filter by confirmed, pending, or cancelled
  • Event type -- Show only bookings for a particular event type

This is useful when you have a high volume of bookings and need to find a specific one quickly.
