Calendars

Connect your external calendars to ChronSync for accurate availability and automatic booking sync.

Calendars

Calendar integrations are the backbone of accurate scheduling. When you connect a calendar, ChronSync reads your existing events to avoid conflicts and writes new bookings directly to your calendar.

How Calendar Sync Works

ChronSync performs two types of sync:

Inbound Sync (Reading Your Calendar)

ChronSync periodically reads events from your connected calendars. Any time slot that overlaps with an existing event is marked as unavailable on your booking page. This prevents double-booking regardless of where the original event was created.

Outbound Sync (Writing to Your Calendar)

When a client books a meeting, ChronSync creates a calendar event on your connected calendar. The event includes the meeting title, client name, and any notes.

Multiple Calendars

You can connect calendars from different providers simultaneously. For example, you might connect both a Google personal calendar and a Microsoft work calendar. ChronSync checks all connected calendars when calculating availability, so events on any connected calendar block the corresponding time slots.

The Calendars Page

Navigate to Calendars in the sidebar to see all your connected calendars. Each calendar displays as a card showing:

  • Provider (Google or Microsoft)
  • Email address associated with the calendar
  • Connection status

From this page you can connect new calendars or disconnect existing ones.
