- The window closes and your Microsoft calendar appears on the Calendars page
Supported Account Types
| Account Type | Supported |
|---|---|
| Microsoft 365 (work or school) | Yes |
| Outlook.com (personal) | Yes |
| On-premises Exchange | No |
Permissions Requested
ChronSync requests the following Microsoft Graph API permissions:
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Read calendars | View your existing calendar events for availability |
| Read/write calendars | Create booking events on your calendar |
| Read user profile | Identify your account email for the calendar card |
What Gets Synced
From Microsoft to ChronSync
- Events on your default calendar
- Events with "Busy" or "Out of Office" status block availability
- Events with "Free" or "Tentative" status do not block availability
- Recurring event occurrences are individually checked
From ChronSync to Microsoft
- New bookings create an Outlook calendar event with:
- Event title matching the event type name
- Client details in the event body
- Correct date, time, and timezone
Disconnecting
- Go to Calendars in the sidebar
- Find the Microsoft Calendar card
- Click the disconnect option
To fully revoke access, you can also visit your Microsoft account app permissions and remove ChronSync from the list.
Troubleshooting
Authorization failed? If your organization uses Microsoft 365 with conditional access policies, your IT administrator may need to grant consent for ChronSync. Contact your admin if you see an "admin approval required" message.
Events not appearing? Verify that you connected the correct Microsoft account. If you have both a personal and work account, make sure you chose the one with the calendar you use for scheduling.
