Creating Event Types
A complete walkthrough of the event type creation form in ChronSync.
Creating Event Types
To create a new event type, click Event Types in the sidebar, then click New Event Type.
Basic Information
Title
The name of your event type, visible on your booking page. Choose something clear and descriptive.
Examples: "30-Minute Consultation", "Product Demo", "Career Coaching Session"
Slug
The URL-friendly identifier that appears in your booking link. ChronSync auto-generates this from the title, but you can edit it.
Example: A title of "30-Minute Consultation" generates the slug 30-minute-consultation, making your booking URL:
https://chronsync.com/book/<username>/30-minute-consultationDescription
A short paragraph explaining what the meeting is about. This appears on the booking page below the title. Use it to set expectations for your clients.
Duration
How long the meeting lasts. Select from common presets or enter a custom duration in minutes.
| Preset | Duration |
|---|---|
| Quick call | 15 minutes |
| Standard | 30 minutes |
| Extended | 45 minutes |
| Long | 60 minutes |
| Custom | Any duration you choose |
Color
A color label for the event type. This helps you visually distinguish different event types on your calendar and in the dashboard.
