Booking Limits
Limit how many bookings clients can make per day, week, or month for a given event type.
Booking Limits
Booking limits cap the number of meetings that can be scheduled for a particular event type within a time period. This prevents your calendar from filling up entirely with one type of meeting.
Available Limits
| Limit | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Per day | Maximum bookings of this event type in a single day |
| Per week | Maximum bookings across the Monday--Sunday week |
| Per month | Maximum bookings in a calendar month |
You can set one, two, or all three limits on the same event type. ChronSync enforces whichever limit is reached first.
How Limits Work
When a limit is reached, ChronSync removes remaining slots for that period from the booking page. Clients see no available times for the affected days, but slots in other periods remain open.
Example: You set a daily limit of 3 for your "30-Minute Consultation" event type. Once three consultations are booked on a Tuesday, no more Tuesday consultation slots appear. Wednesday and beyond remain available until their limits are reached.
When to Use Limits
- Prevent meeting fatigue -- Cap consultations to 4 per day so you have time for deep work
- Balance meeting types -- Limit demos to 10 per week while keeping coaching sessions uncapped
- Manage capacity -- Set monthly limits to match your bandwidth
Setting Limits
- Open the event type you want to limit
- Scroll to the Booking Limits section
- Enter the maximum number for each period you want to constrain
- Click Save
Leave a limit field empty to keep it uncapped.
