Connecting Calendars
Link your Google or Microsoft calendar to ChronSync for real-time availability and automatic booking sync.
Connecting Calendars
Connecting a calendar lets ChronSync check your existing events when calculating availability, and automatically add new bookings to your calendar.
Why Connect a Calendar
Without a connected calendar, ChronSync only knows about your availability schedule (the weekly hours you set). It has no visibility into meetings booked outside ChronSync.
With a connected calendar:
- Availability is accurate -- Existing events block those time slots automatically
- Bookings sync both ways -- New ChronSync bookings appear on your calendar, and external changes are picked up on the next sync
- No double-booking -- Conflicts are detected before a client can confirm a slot
Supported Calendars
| Provider | Connection Method |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | OAuth (one-click authorization) |
| Microsoft Outlook | OAuth (one-click authorization) |
How to Connect
- Click Calendars in the sidebar
- Click Connect Calendar
- Choose Google or Microsoft
- Complete the OAuth authorization in the popup window
- Once connected, your calendar appears on the Calendars page with your email address
You can connect multiple calendars from different providers. ChronSync checks all connected calendars when determining availability.
After Connecting
Your connected calendars appear as cards on the Calendars page, showing the associated email address and provider. ChronSync begins syncing immediately.
