Connect your calendar

Connect a Google, Microsoft, or Apple calendar so ChronSync checks your availability and writes bookings to it.

Connect a calendar so ChronSync checks your real availability and writes new bookings to it. ChronSync reads your calendar's busy times so it never offers a slot you're already booked, and it writes each new booking to your calendar so everything stays in one place.

You'll connect your calendar from Settings → Integrations (/settings/integrations).

Connect a calendar

Pick your calendar provider below and follow the steps.

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Add Google.

Sign in to your Google account.

Grant calendar access, and allow offline access when prompted.

Your Google calendars then appear in ChronSync, ready to configure.

One connection covers Outlook.com, Microsoft 365, and work or school accounts.

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Add Microsoft.

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Grant access. This also lets ChronSync create Microsoft Teams links for your meetings.

Your Microsoft calendars then appear in ChronSync, ready to configure.

Apple requires an app-specific password — not your normal Apple ID password. ChronSync connects iCloud calendars only.

At appleid.apple.com, generate an app-specific password. It looks like xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.

In ChronSync, go to Settings → Integrations and click Add Apple.

Enter your Apple ID and the app-specific password.

Your iCloud calendars then appear in ChronSync, ready to configure.

iCloud syncs by periodic check-in, so changes can take a few minutes to appear in ChronSync.

Set per-calendar options

After you connect an account, each of its calendars has two toggles:

  • Check for conflicts — block that calendar's busy times so ChronSync won't offer those slots.
  • Write events — let ChronSync add new bookings to that calendar.

Turn these on for the calendars you want ChronSync to read from and write to.

To choose which calendar new bookings are added to, set Default Calendar in Settings → Profile. See Set up your profile.

Disconnecting a calendar

Disconnecting removes that account and all of its calendars from ChronSync, and clears it as your default calendar. ChronSync will no longer check those calendars for conflicts or write bookings to them.

Go to Settings → Integrations and find the account you want to remove.

Click Disconnect next to that account.

Confirm to remove the account.

The account and its calendars no longer appear on the Integrations page.
