Roles and permissions
A reference table of ChronSync's three workspace roles — Owner, Admin, and Member — and what each can do across role changes, settings, members, and bookings.
Every member of a ChronSync workspace has one of three roles: Owner, Admin, or Member. A role sets what that person can see and do across the workspace. Here's how the three compare.
| Capability | Owner | Admin | Member |
|---|---|---|---|
| Change other members' roles | Yes | No | No |
| See and manage all workspace settings | Yes | Yes | No |
| Manage members (invite, remove, deactivate) | Yes | Yes | No |
| Manage teams and round-robin scheduling | Yes | Yes | No |
| Manage all bookings | Yes | Yes | No |
| Manage their own scheduling | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| See their own Profile, Integrations, Notifications, and Proposals | Yes | Yes | Yes |
In short:
- Owner — full control of the workspace, including changing roles.
- Admin — manages workspace settings, members, teams, and bookings, but can't change roles.
- Member — manages their own scheduling and sees only their Profile, Integrations, Notifications, and Proposals.
