Set up round-robin scheduling

Distribute one event type's bookings across a team in ChronSync — create a team, choose a round-robin mode, add members, and assign an event type to rotate bookings.

Spread bookings for a single event type across a group of people automatically. Instead of everyone booking one person, ChronSync rotates each new booking to a team member — so the load is shared and bookers always land on someone who's available.

Before you start

  • The people you want to include need to be members of your workspace. See Invite your team.
  • You need an event type to assign to the team. See Create an event type.
  • Have each member's ID handy — you add people to a team by their member ID.

Create a team

Open Teams.

Create a team and give it a name.

Choose a round-robin mode:

  • Availability first — sends each booking to whoever's free.
  • Least recently booked — sends it to the person who has gone longest without a booking.
  • Sequential — works through the members in order.

Add members and assign an event type

Add each person to the team by their member ID.

Optionally set a weight between 1 and 10 for a member. A higher weight sends more bookings their way.

Assign an event type to the team.

Now, when someone books that event type, ChronSync rotates the booking to one team member according to your chosen mode and weights. The booking shows up under that member's schedule like any other.

You add a member to a team by their member ID. Team events distribute to one member per booking — group events with multiple attendees in the same slot aren't available yet.
