Create an availability template

Owners and admins can create a reusable availability template in ChronSync and assign it to team members so they share a consistent set of hours.

Create a reusable availability template and assign it to team members so they share a consistent set of hours. A template lets you define one set of working hours centrally instead of setting them up host by host.

Before you start

  • You need owner or admin access. Templates are managed at the team level, not by individual hosts.

Why templates help teams

When several hosts should be bookable during the same hours, a template keeps them in sync. Set the hours once, assign the template, and every host on it offers the same slots, so:

  • New team members start with the right hours instead of building a schedule from scratch.
  • Hours stay consistent across a team or department.
  • You update the shared pattern in one place rather than editing each host individually.

Create a template

Go to Availability and open Templates.

Create a new template.

Set a Name that describes the pattern, such as Standard office hours.

In the weekly grid, set the start and end times for each day, and turn off any day the team shouldn't take bookings.

Save the template.

Your template appears under Availability → Templates, ready to assign.

Assign a template to team members

Open the template and assign it to the team members who should share its hours. Each assigned host then offers the slots defined by the template.

Individual hosts manage their own day-to-day hours under Set your weekly hours. Templates give owners and admins a shared starting point across the team.
