Use multiple schedules

Keep several named availability schedules in ChronSync for different working patterns, and mark one as your default so it applies to your event types.

Keep several named availability schedules so you can switch between different working patterns without re-entering your hours each time. You mark one schedule as your Default, and that default applies to your event types.

When multiple schedules help

A single set of weekly hours is enough for many hosts. Multiple schedules are useful when you book in genuinely different patterns, for example:

  • A schedule for client calls and a separate one for internal meetings.
  • Summer and winter hours you alternate between.
  • A focused mornings-only schedule for deep-work sessions.

With each pattern saved as its own schedule, you switch by changing which one is the default, rather than editing the same hours back and forth.

Before you start

  • Confirm the timezone in your profile is correct, since every schedule is based on it. See Set up your profile.

Create a new schedule

Go to Availability and open Schedules.

Create a new schedule to start fresh.

Set a Name that describes the pattern, such as Client calls, so you can recognize it later.

In the weekly grid, set the start and end times for each day people can book you. Turn off any day you don't want to take bookings.

Click Save.

Your new schedule appears in the Schedules list alongside your existing ones.

Make a schedule your default

Turn the Default schedule toggle on for the schedule you want to apply to your event types. Only one schedule is the default at a time, so turning it on for one schedule moves the default away from the previous one.

Your default schedule applies to your event types unless you choose otherwise. To set the days and times inside any schedule in detail, see Set your weekly hours.
