Create your first event type
A first-run tutorial: create an event type in ChronSync and get a shareable booking link in a few minutes.
Let's go from nothing to a booking link you can share. An event type is a kind of meeting you offer — its length, where it happens, and how people book it. By the end of this page you'll have one created and a link ready to send.
Connect a calendar first. ChronSync uses your connected calendar to check your availability and add new bookings. See Connect your calendar before you start.
Create the event type
In the sidebar, click Event Types.
Click New Event Type.

Enter a Title — this is what people see when they book, for example "Intro Call."
Set a Duration, such as 30 minutes.
Choose a Location. For a video meeting, pick Video, then choose Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Click Save.
Your new event type appears as a card on the Event Types page.
Copy and share your booking link
On your new event type's card, click Copy booking link.

Paste the link wherever you like — an email, a message, or your website. It looks like chronsync.com/<your-username>/<event>.
That's it. When someone opens your link, they pick a time that fits your availability, and the booking lands on your calendar automatically.
Nicely done — you have a working booking link. From here you can fine-tune durations, buffers, and limits, and make your booking page your own.
