Collect payment for a booking

Charge for a meeting in ChronSync by setting a price on the event type — bookers pay by card before the booking is confirmed, and the meeting link is issued once payment succeeds.

Charge for a meeting by setting a price on the event type. When someone books, they pay by card before the booking is confirmed — and ChronSync issues the meeting link and confirmation only once payment succeeds.

Paid bookings may need to be enabled for your account first. If you don't see pricing options on your event type, contact ChronSync support to turn them on.

Before you start

  • You need an event type to edit. If you don't have one yet, create an event type first.
  • Paid bookings must be available on your account (see the note above).

What the booker experiences

When someone books a paid event type, they enter their card details and pay before the booking is confirmed. Once the payment succeeds, ChronSync confirms the booking and issues the meeting link and confirmation. If payment doesn't go through, the booking isn't confirmed and no link is sent.
