Set booking limits

Cap how many bookings an event type accepts per day, week, or month in ChronSync — protecting your time by stopping new bookings once a limit is reached.

Cap how many times an event type can be booked in a given day, week, or month so a busy stretch can't fill your whole calendar. You set these caps in the Booking Limits section of the event type form.

Before you start

  • You need an event type to edit. If you don't have one yet, create an event type first.
  • Open the event type and find the Booking Limits section.

How limits work

LimitWhat it caps
Per dayThe most bookings this event type accepts in a single day.
Per weekThe most bookings it accepts across one week.
Per monthThe most bookings it accepts across one month.

Leave any field blank for unlimited — ChronSync only enforces the limits you actually fill in. You can set one, two, or all three together.

Set your limits

Open the Booking Limits section

Open the event type you want to change and scroll to Booking Limits.

Cap bookings per day

In Per day, enter the most bookings you'll take in a day. For example, enter 3 to keep this event type to three meetings daily. Leave it blank for no daily cap.

Cap bookings per week

In Per week, enter your weekly maximum. Leave it blank for no weekly cap.

Cap bookings per month

In Per month, enter your monthly maximum. Leave it blank for no monthly cap.

Save the event type

Save the form. Your limits apply right away.

Once a limit is reached, the slots for that day, week, or month stop showing on your booking page — a booker simply won't see times to choose during a period that's already full, so they can't book past your cap. Other periods stay open as normal.
