Require approval for bookings
Turn on Requires approval for a ChronSync event type so new bookings arrive as Pending requests you approve, instead of confirming automatically.
Make bookings for an event type wait for your sign-off before they're confirmed. When you turn on Requires approval, each new booking arrives as a Pending request that you review and approve, rather than landing on your calendar automatically. You set this in the Policies section of the event type form.
Before you start
- You need an event type to edit. If you don't have one yet, create an event type first.
- Open the event type and find the Policies section.

Review your pending requests
New bookings for this event type now appear as Pending instead of confirmed. Review them in Bookings under Pending, where you can approve each one to confirm it.
What the booker sees
For an event type that requires approval, the booker's action is to Request Booking rather than confirm a time outright. After they submit, their booking is a request — it isn't locked in until you approve it, and they're notified once you do.
